Midland Freewheelers provide a FREE EMERGENCY out of hours blood and medical essentials delivery service to NHS facilities 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.
We also work with Birmingham Women's Hospital by carrying breast milk to sick and at risk premature babies.
As well as that we also keep the Midlands Air Ambulance, based at RAF Cosford, supplied with blood and plasma as part of an ongoing clinical trial called RePHILL.
We are a charity staffed entirely by volunteers who give up their time to ride bikes, drive cars, coordinate and fundraise.
LITTLE RASCAL FOUNDATION
Little Rascals Foundation is a charity that has been set up by the directors of Little Rascals Play Centre. International footballer Dave Edwards and his lifelong friend and business partner Ben Wootton, to support children with disabilities. An idea many many years ago...
The Little Rascals Foundation will strive to support children with disabilities, helping them to participate in what is considered 'normal' in their everyday society.
Little Rascals Play Centre already works hard to make the centre accessible for all children. They hold 'Kids Plus' sessions, which enable children with disabilities to play when the centre is quieter and have sole access to the play equipment and their sensory room. The charity will now look to expand these services and raise further funds to support children with disabilities throughout the UK.
OLD WULFRUNIANS HOCKEY CLUB
From modest beginnings the club has grown steadily and is now the largest club in the City of Wolverhampton and currently runs 6 Saturday sides (5 league and a badgers) and sides for U14s, U16s, U18s, O40s, O50s and indoors on a regular basis

Local pub recognised in new Grassroots Sports Champion programme
The Royal Oak Chapel Ash has become one of the first Grassroots Sports Champions in the country, as part of a new programme to recognise the invaluable support pubs provide for local sport.
The new initiative, run by pub organisation PubAid in association with Sky, aims to reward pubs who work with grassroots sports clubs. According to PubAid’s research1, pubs provide £40m worth of support per year to local sport across the UK.
The Royal Oak has been named a Grassroots Sports Champion because it sponsors local football team Royal Oak FC and club house to Old Wulfrunians hockey club
The Royal Oak Management said: “We’re delighted to become a Grassroots Sports Champion.
